Engineering Shift Manager - Up to £45,000 - Lincoln (night shift)
Due to retirement, a vacancy has arisen for an Engineering Shift Manager based at our clients site in Lincolnshire. This role will report into the Operations Manager and will be to cover the night shift.

£35000 to £45000 per annum
In this role you will be expected to carry out pro-active and reactive maintenance on the production lines during your shift. The chosen candidate will play a key role within the operations team – leading and working alongside your team to ensure production targets are met in line with company safety, quality and hygiene standards and Corporate Values. The Site currently operates on a 2 shift working pattern for 6 months and 3 shift for the other 6 months of the year (this can change due to business demand). In this role you will also be required to operate a Fork Lift Truck (training can be provided).
Key Responsibilities include:
· Leading, developing and motivating the Shift Team.
· Ensuring KPI’s are met/exceeded.
· Driving continuous improvement through team involvement to ensure performance targets are met/exceeded.
· Promoting a positive, safe culture where all team members contribute.
The successful candidate will ideally have a multi-skilled, engineering background (preferably within a food manufacturing environment) with City & Guilds or BTEC Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualification (or similar), experience of managing people and a positive “can do” attitude along with good communication skills.
