Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Experience of Dry Risers and Sprinkler Systems, whilst possessing up to date professional knowledge of current legislation and standards.
Experience of the testing and maintenance of Fire Extinguishers would be an advantage.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Respond to all service calls in a prompt and professional manner.
Offer the highest standards of customer service.
Plan and implement demand and routine call visits across the South.
Person Specification
Technical background in the electrical / electronic industry.
Good all round knowledge of Fire and Security Systems would be an advantage.
Excellent organisational skills.

Experience of front line customer contact preferred, with an ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
Full UK drivers license.
Qualified to BAFE/FETA Standard.
A level of flexibility is required, to cover some weekend work when required.

Our client is an experienced manufacturer of ejection seats.
Theyre seeking an experienced manager to control the incoming, in-process and final inspection of safety critical aerospace products including First Article Inspection reports to the latest Aerospace standards. Inspection activities encompass the evaluation and measurement of a wide variety of components and assemblies using a range of manual, co-ordinate, X-Ray and NDT techniques. You will be responsible for a team of about 50 skilled inspectors who are required to fully measure and verify prototype and routine production parts to the specified standards.
A high level of man management and planning experience is necessary to deliver inspection capacity across the range of business activities whilst maintaining strict quality standards in product performance. This is a high profile role within the business and instrumental in delivering our long term quality and delivery objectives. As such the successful candidate must be able to interact and engage with people at all levels internally and externally to the organisation.
Suitable candidates are likely to have experience in continuous improvement methodology utilising clear visual management of inspection operations to ensure that any capacity bottlenecks and non-conforming issues are quickly identified and responded to.
Degree or higher level qualification in a technical or engineering discipline is preferred ideally with experience of quality and regulatory standards within the defence, aerospace or automotive industries.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive individual to fill a vacancy for a Bulk Projects Technical Co-ordinator, reporting to the Bulk Manufacturing Manager, in which you will be responsible for identifying improvement opportunities and implementing solutions to these, as well as assisting in maintaining and fault finding on all plant equipment in the area.

You will be tasked with the maintenance, reactive breakdowns, faultfinding and continuously improving plant performance, quality and safety. You will be tasked with moving a specific area forward using good Manufacturing and Engineering practices.
It is essential that all applicants must possess:
- City & Guilds part 3, B-Tec ONC or HNC in Mechanical / Electrical engineering disciplines.
- Proven track record in a multi-skilled engineering position in an FMCG environment.
- Experience of working on liquid processing and / or bulk powder handling equipment preferred.
- An analytical approach to problem solving.
- A keen interest in continuous improvement.
- Experience managing CI engineering projects.
- Ability to work to consistently high standards and tight deadlines.
Additional skills required:
§ With S5 and S7 PLCs (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced).
§ Knowledge of continuous signal monitoring equipment, pressure transmitters / flowmeters / temperature probes and how they interface with PLCs.
§ Process delivery equipment i.e. blowers, positive displacement/ centrifugal pumps, rotary airlocks etc.
§ Fluid dynamics.
§ Projects (types, end-to-end management, contractor management).
§ Technical and training documentation
CAD experience or can use any type of 2D drawing package i.e. MS Vision.
Bulk TC position will work predominantly days but also needs to be flexible as they will be expected to cover sickness, holidays, etc. across all shifts. You will be required to work 42 hours per week; these may be Monday - Friday however you will need to work flexible hours (possibly NS and Weekends) in order to meet business requirements.
TC position will work a rotating shift pattern with 12 hours shifts: 2 days/ 2 nights/ 4 days off.
