Department
The STA function is responsible for the capacity and quality performance of all new product and current vehicle suppliers and performs an important role within the Purchasing Department. The STA function is responsible for planning, monitoring and controlling supplier manufacturing processes and activities to enable high quality and on time execution of product programmes effectively and efficiently whilst maintaining and improving current car performance.
STA ENGINEER
Key Responsibilities
• Site development/JLRQ Manufacturing site assessment.
• JLRQ/Supplier site improvement.
• Improve quality systems and drive continuous improvement.
• Sourcing support.
• Suppoort review of DFMEA and lead review of PFMEA and control plans.
• Advanced Product Quality planning.

STA MANAGER
The Programme & Resident STA Manager works in the Purchasing department and is mainly involved in new programme initiatives.
Main Tasks
Sourcing, High Impact, JLRQ
• Support coordination of Sourcing process.
• Support Programme and Site Engineers in the monitoring of High Priority supplier readiness at required programme milestones.
• Support STA Site Engineer with endorsement of suppliers petitioning for JLRQ as required.
Communicating Program Requirements
• Ensure /Follow up that Programme Targets within STA responsibility area are met and defined APQP Status Review, Program Team Support, PPAP Disposition / Status
• Ensure programme coverage, including PST, PAT, PMT meetings and coverage of prototype builds including post Job #1.
• Support the High Priority supplier APQP process for new model programmes.
• Support communication of programme information to the appropriate Purchasing Managers, Buyers and STA Engineers.
Changes in Program Deliverables
• Co-ordinate Changes in Programme Deliverables (e.g: Engineering Changes)
Quality Resolution, Flawless Launch, Assembly Plant Launch Support, Lessons Learned - Best Practices.
• For selected new programmes, provide launch support from VP to FSR.
• Support resolution of supplier quality issues during all phases of programme.
• Direct and assist Site Engineers in resolution of chronic external supplier quality issues.

The Environmental Health and Safety Manager develops and leads safety, health and environmental initiative in this Lean Six Sigma chemical manufacturing plant. S/he provides environmental, health, and safety coordination by monitoring compliance with EHS regulations; overseeing response to EHS compliance audits; working on the design/implementation of EHS systems; supporting company policies adhering to local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations; and managing compliance projects to remediate known areas of concern.
Main Responsibilities:
• Achieves TQM and key performance indicators.
• Provides guidance & technical expertise to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Coordinates EHS system.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
At least 5 years related engineering & supervisory responsibilities at a
manufacturing facility.
3 years experience in an EHS role.
Essential Experience:
Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment is essential.
