To ensure that all production and site equipment runs at maximum efficiency. To attend to breakdowns promptly and ensure that all planned maintenance tasks/projects are completed. Sourcing spares, managing contractors, etc

Reports to Engineering Manager and integrates with the Engineering team, production Shift Managers and Quality assurance team.
SCOPE OF JOB:
Engineering breakdowns.
Planned maintenance tasks.
Work orders
Maintenance projects.
DIMENSIONS & LIMITS OF AUTHORITY:
Able to suspend processing.
Able to stop production with communication with production shift managers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Recognised apprenticeship preferably served within the food industry.
ONC or equivalent in electrical/electronic engineering.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience of working in the food industry, electrical bias with strong diagnostic abilities, PLC knowledge with preferably some programming ability.
Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft access a benefit.
