PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential:
• Experience of formatting and producing accurate typed documents to a high standard using Microsoft Word.
• Accurate and speedy keyboard skills with a in-depth knowledge and experience of Word and competent in Excel for example
- use of Microsoft Word, including the advanced features such as tagging & styles
- ability to set up Excel spreadsheets using calculations, graphs and data input.
• Experienced in using a range of office equipment i.e. printers, photocopiers, binding machines, PDF and scanning software.
Overall Purpose/Objectives of Role
Responsible for the delivery of an effective and efficient administration service supporting the Engineering Department in meeting its objectives.
Key duties:
1. Format and type technical documentation accurately and with good presentation. Responsible for managing outsourcing of document production when necessary.
2. Carry out PDFing of technical documents for filing and distribution. Responsible for managing PDFing of documents when outsourced.
3. Administer and maintain the Engineering Intranet site.
4. Maintain accurate/up-to-date records for the department as required.
5. Administer and maintain the Technical and Electronic Libraries and approved records. Purchasing Standards and books as required by departments.
6. Provide reports/metrics as and when required.
7. Administer and maintain the Engineering timesheet database.
8. Provide Management support as and when required.
9. Work with other departments to ensure adequate cover in Admin.
10. Create/maintain Process Maps for Engineering – working alongside QA to keep the maps up-to-date.
11. Maintaining the stationery cupboard for the Department and ordering of stationery as and when required.
12. Providing effective support for other Departments as and when required.
Desirable
Experienced in desk top publishing packages and familiar with inserting and cropping pictures and maintaining and updating web page material.

Customer Account Manager - Hampshire - Circa £25,000
Overall Purpose/Objectives of Role
To manage existing and potential customer relationships to maximise sales, profitability and customer satisfaction.
To provide support to the departmental manager and Senior Customer Account Manager.
Permanent
£20000 to £25000 per annum
Key duties:
1. To ensure that all customer issues are managed effectively and resolved to the mutual benefit of the business and our customers.
2. To manage the progression of all orders post contract to delivery including liaison with relevant internal departments to ensure customer requirements are achieved.
3. To regularly visit assigned customers and participate in exhibitions in order to develop relationships at all levels and prospect for opportunities.
4. To report as required to internal & external customers on the progress of customer orders, including but not limited to Customer OTD and program changes.
5. To assist in the preparation of sales budget, forecasts and analyses for assigned customers by, for example, providing sales and order intake forecasts.
6. To support all proposals & bids for assigned customers.
