Head of Supplier Management
Aberdeen or London
£80,000 (neg) plus car, bonus and benefits
Reporting to the Procurement Director your role will be to design & implement business processes, systems and responsibilities which will professionally manage my clients most important suppliers. You will be accountable for overall Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and ensuring ongoing, measurable value improvement.
Permanent
£60000 to £80000 + car & benefits
Key responsibilities:
• Develop vision and case for strategic supplier management.
• Analyse existing SRM processes and systems.
• Design and implement new SRM processes.
• Define SRM systems requirements in conjunction with IT.
• Deliver change management activities, communications and training.
• Lead strategic supplier management for other UK divisions.
Skills & experience required:
• Extensive experience of strategic procurement & supplier management.
• Track record of delivering value improvement through Supplier Relationship Management.
• SRM programme implementation experience from strategy design through to realisation of value improvement benefits including:
o Supplier Segmentation & Relationship strategy.
o Supplier Performance Management.
o Supplier Development.
• Ability to develop business case and track benefits related to the implementation of SRM.
• Drive and deliver change management programme.
• Strong understanding of one or more SRM technology platforms.
Pre-requisites
• Degree qualified.
• MCIPS.
• Multi-year track record of achievements in strategic supplier management and procurement.
• Strong communication skills.
• Confident, poised, ability to relate to senior executives.
• Leadership - able transfer vision into results.
