Minimum requirements:
• 5 years in industrial sales (large-value or engineered systems)
• Bachelor’s degree
• Bilingual: English/Arabic preferred
• Familiarity with procurement methods of Middle East countries and MS Office
CONTEXT
We already have a well developed international presence and we are now seeking to further accelerate our international expansion through the hiring of an outstanding sales professional to focus on driving strategic growth within the Oil & Gas Markets.
ROLE
Reporting to the Managing Director, your brief will be to lead the international development identifying market opportunities and forming the necessary partner and customer relationships to secure and deliver contracts into existing and new geographic markets.
We are seeking a proven Sales Director wanting to further develop their career in an international business environment. A background in the Fire Industry would be advantageous. You must be energetic, driven and hungry for success with a demonstrable track record for developing strong and value added business relationships with particular experience in developing business relationships with engineering contractors and end users.
You will be able to demonstrate well developed management, interpersonal and communication abilities along with highly effective presentation and persuasive/influencing skills.
AIM
Conduct Great Middle East sales activities to maximise order intake and meet or exceed the target metrics for sale, revenue, margin and cash flow, and customer satisfaction.
KEY MISSIONS
• Travel within the regional territory, either independently or with management, calling on end users, fire officers, architects, engineers, construction contractors, distributors, industry specifiers to promote and secure orders for Systems Integrated Products and Support.
• Operate as an ambassador for the company by promoting all aspects of Systems business, including products and brand. Support the Company's policies, procedures, products & programs (Lean, EH&S…)
• Respond to strong prospect with in country sales team. Establish and cultivate a relationship with prospects that supports and educates the prospect throughout the planning and procurement process.
• Provide recommendations on bid strategies and pricing based on selling situation, contracting method, customer budgets & competition.
• Cultivate contacts with existing and potential customers to maximize business opportunities and response to changing customer needs.
• Participate and exhibit at regional trade conferences. Keep abreast of industry trends by participating in industry seminars and meetings.
• Provide recommendations to the Company in formulating proposals and competitive bid pricing strategies.
• Provide recommendations on marketing strategies, advertising, target audiences, and make recommendations for enhanced product features and new product development.
• Identify country-specific non-employee local sales representatives or distributors who may best represent and assist in the sale of products and/or systems integration.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our clients Fire Fighting Products Sales Team. Our client supplies a comprehensive range of fire fighting products including layflat hose, foam concentrates and engineering products to major clients in the Oil and Petrochemical Industry, Fire Brigades, the Military and Industrial sectors world-wide.
Reporting to the Export Sales Manager, you will assist in further growing our clients brand globally.
Ideally educated to degree level, you should have export sales experience gained selling industrial products. It is essential that you are personally motivated and can work efficiently with minimum supervision, as some overseas travel will form a part of this role.
In addition, the ability to analyse and report data in a disciplined manner is essential.
Highly developed keyboard and PC skills will be required (including Microsoft Word and Excel) and language skills (particularly French and German) would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:
Being directly responsible for account and customer relationship management of existing key business.
Develop new business through new OEM accounts and increase volumes for existing accounts. Identify new product opportunities, markets and technologies. Coordinate activities with target OEM accounts. Maintain a high level of awareness of product and marketing within the industry. Facilitate the communication of deliveries, support and repairs.
Technical Skills:
Qualifications:
Degree level qualification in relevant scientific discipline.
Experienced in the use of sales and negotiation techniques, and key account management.
An understanding of the Nanoscience products and technologies, and/or knowledge of analytical techniques such as optical spectroscopy, scanning probe (STM, AFM) and electrical transport techniques (dc, ac & rf nanovolt sensitivity) would be an advantage.
