We are a well established and growing company within the oil and gas industry and are looking for dynamic expansion into new markets to develop our business further. We have identified power generation, industrial gases, chemical and process industry opportunities and have started to engage with these sectors. We are now building the team to deliver this growth.

The candidate will have personal drive, determination, an energetic approach, be used to working within international business development and have the ability to identify a business opportunity, negotiate, manage and deliver it.
This new position is an opportunity for the right person to develop their career and have a real impact on our growth and a significant part of the Business Development team.
Tasks will include:
• Liaison with prospective clients, customers and key stakeholders to further the company’s business development objectives.
• Driving technical and commercial negotiations.
• Delivering against sales targets selling new solutions to new clients.
• Execution of plans to establish our products and services in new markets.
• Build campaigns and plans around specific targets to generate pipeline and ultimately revenue.
• Analyse customers' needs and recommend solution that best meets the customers' requirements and business objectives.
• Evaluate new market opportunities and provide market intelligence to the Business Management and Sales teams.
• Development of market sector and competitor analysis reports.
• Gathering and analysis of market trend, expert opinion and industry sourced information.
The candidate will be:
• Educated to good degree level; probably an engineering or science background.
• Experienced in Business Development and commercial activity in some of the markets; international energy, power utilities, process industries, chemical engineering, chemicals, engineering.
• Structured and organised in their approach to Business Development with evidence of delivering on £M sales targets.
• Results-oriented with a ‘make it happen’ attitude in a team environment.
• Innovative and able to develop technical and commercial solutions.
• Skilled in recognising and articulating both client and market needs in order to help develop innovative and technically/commercially viable solutions.
Candidate will be a strong team player, and be willing to travel internationally. You will have the ability to work autonomously, good organisational and inter-personal skills and be comfortable dealing with clients at multiple levels.
