Marketing Product Manager - Staffordshire - Up to £40,000
Salary: £28k - £40k per annum (dependent upon qualifications and experience)
Our client is one of the worlds leading manufacturers of laboratory glassware and
reusable plastics and is home to some of the most famous brands in science.

The client you will manage is a key contributor to the business and presents a significant number of opportunities for development and growth. The breadth of the market, the supply chain and the nature of the products requires that adequate resources are fully focussed on this high margin revenue stream.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the post of Product Manager is now vacant.
As a member of the marketing team, the Product Manager will be responsible for the
efficient planning and roll-out of marketing activities in order to maximize the brand values and champion the brand to a global customer base. Furthermore, you will develop and implement marketing strategies and tactical initiatives to support the sales team in existing as well as new markets.
Summary of responsibilities of the Product Manager:
Develop and implement marketing plans to grow the business globally.
Proposal and implementation of New Product Development activity.
Assist in the in-bound supply chain and customer service levels.
Support Sales team in developing the distribution channels.
Develop clear brand positioning and values through development of a strong
promotional plan.
Ensuring excellent product information management and technical support.
To be successful in this position, you should have excellent analytical capabilities and be a great communicator with a high level of social and organizational skills.
Successful candidates should ideally meet the following requirements:
Previous commercial experience of managing a product portfolio in Laboratory or similar technical markets.
Broad knowledge of Plastics including plastics technology and manufacturing.
Experience of dealing with suppliers and customers, both domestic and
international.
A degree qualification in Polymer/Material Sciences, Life Sciences or Chemistry.
A marketing qualification or relevant business qualification is highly desirable.
The post-holder will be based full-time at the office.
